KYC, security deposits and handover evidence
The three things that cost a rental business real money: the renter you could not identify, the deposit you forgot, and the damage nobody can prove.
Documents attached to the hire
Driving licence details are captured against the booking and retained the way the statutory renter register expects — not left in a camera roll.
Aadhaar handled with restraint
Where Aadhaar is collected it is stored masked to the last four digits, and the image is discarded rather than retained. Holding a full copy of someone’s Aadhaar is a liability, not a feature.
Deposits stay visible until they go back
Each security deposit sits on its booking until you record the return, so nothing is settled from memory — and the deposit is never treated as your revenue or charged a platform fee.
Condition, recorded at both ends
Photographs and video at handover and again at return, attached to the booking. The evidence exists before the argument does, which is usually enough to prevent the argument.
What this does not do
Raahvi records what you capture. It does not verify identity on your behalf unless a verification provider is connected to your account, and it does not replace your own checks at the counter.

WhatsApp booking
Take rental bookings on the WhatsApp number your customers already message. Availability, quotes, deposits and confirmations in one thread — no app for them to install.
Booking CRM
Every rental as a record: customer, vehicle, dates, deposit, documents and what happened at return. Searchable later, so a repeat customer is not a stranger.
Self-drive cars
KYC and licence checks, security deposits, distance limits and a condition record at every handover.
Two-wheelers
Hourly and daily slabs, add-ons like helmets, and handovers fast enough for a walk-in queue.
Cameras & electronics
Serial numbers, pooled stock of identical bodies and lenses, and weekend rates that price themselves.
