What is never charged
The deposit is your customer’s money.
A security deposit is held and returned — it is not revenue, and treating it as revenue would be wrong in both directions. It is excluded from the fee calculation in the code itself, not as a policy someone has to remember to apply.

What exactly is the 3% charged on?
The rental amount on bookings you complete. Extras that form part of the hire are included; the refundable security deposit is not.
What happens if a booking is cancelled?
A booking cancelled before it starts is not charged. Commission that has not been paid is waived.
Is there a setup fee or a minimum?
No setup fee and no minimum monthly amount. In a month with no completed bookings, there is nothing to pay.
How do I actually pay it?
Commission is invoiced to you. Your customers pay you directly for the rental — Raahvi never sits between you and your customer’s money.
Does the fee change as I grow?
The standard rate is 3%. Anything different is agreed for your account rather than applied automatically.
Can I stop using it?
Yes. There is no lock-in period and no exit fee. Your booking page comes down and you owe only commission already invoiced.
